Dish On Table

I am thrilled to share my first professional journey at Dish On Table, where I discover my passion for creativity and marketing.

I vividly recall my days at the stall, not only as the one responsible for sales but also utilizing my free time in the stall to immerse myself in the creative process. The question that fueled my creativity was: how could I transform the perception of Nasi Lemak from a traditional, unexciting dish into something universally appealing?

My approach was simple yet transformative. I aimed to make the food as visually appealing as possible, infusing it with a modern and distinctive outlook. I used a mix of photos, videos, and fun gifs to showcase how delicious it is.

Beyond the content, I developed a cohesive visual graphic style that seamlessly blended modern elements with a touch of retro aesthetics. This design language, characterized by vibrant colors and distinctive fonts, was consistently applied across various platforms – from social media and menus to uniforms and other marketing collateral.

I believed in changing the narrative, showcasing that Nasi Lemak is not confined to a specific age group but is a delight that everyone can savor.

This project fueled my passion for creativity and marketing, showing me the impact of thinking outside the box. It was not just about selling food; it was about creating an experience, telling a story, and breaking stereotypes. During my time in charge, I successfully grew its social media presence, gaining a solid following of 800 engaged followers. The strategic approach not only elevated the brand but also translated into tangible success at the stall, consistently attracting customers and driving profits.
