Empowering Entrepreneurs for Darussalam Enterprise (DARe) Micro Bootcamp
I've had the incredible opportunity to teach to aspiring entrepreneurs through the Darussalam Enterprise (DARe) Micro Bootcamp, representing Grominda. Micro is a dynamic four-week business development program by Darussalam Enterprise (DARe), dedicated to supporting individuals with business ideas and helping them kick-start their entrepreneurial journey.
Having been involved in cycles 11-21 consecutively (2022-2023), this experience has not only been personally fulfilling but also a continuous learning journey. Each cycle has presented unique lessons, prompting constant improvement at both the organizational and personal levels. Here are some key insights I've gained from this enriching experience:
The Joy of Teaching: Teaching the intricacies of Branding, Visual Identity, and Social Media Marketing to participants has been an exceptionally rewarding experience. While working on branding and digital marketing is enjoyable personally, guiding aspiring entrepreneurs through these concepts adds a layer of fulfillment. Seeing them eagerly apply these lessons to their ventures is genuinely gratifying.
2. Preparation is Key: Recognizing the responsibility of valuing participants' time has been crucial. Understanding this, I've shifted my mindset to ensure that every moment spent is worthwhile. Although preparation for teaching can be time-consuming (which affected my day to day responsibility), I've adapted and developed a process to manage time effectively and overcome initial challenges.
3. Meeting the Aspiring Entrepreneurs In this journey, I had the honor of meeting a diverse array of aspiring entrepreneurs, each with their dreams and visions. Engaging with their questions, challenges, and ideas was a humbling reminder of the power of knowledge sharing. Connecting with these eager minds created a friendly bond that went beyond the classroom.
Teaching for Darussalam Enterprise (DARe) Bootcamp has been a remarkable chapter in my professional journey. The interactions, insights, and personal growth it has afforded me are invaluable. Looking ahead, I am excited to continue nurturing aspirations, fostering connections, and embracing the boundless learning opportunities that teaching offers.
